2020 Land Rover Evoque Makes US Debut, Pricing Details Revealed

As we make our turn into the next decade, it’s clear that Land Rover is bringing everything they have to the table for the next iteration of the Land Rover Evoque. After originally making its global debut a few months back, the all-new compact SUV made its US debut at the Chicago Auto Show. Alongside its impressive appearance which coincided with an indoor off-road experience course, we also got firm details on its price point.

The announcement, which took place at the McCormick Place convention center, revealed that the 2020 Land Rover Evoque will start at $42,650 plus destination. Land Rover promises that this next generation compact SUV will deliver a redesigned vehicle architecture that will allow it to set new industry-wide standards for capability, refinement, and sustainability.

Land Rover Evoque buyers from around Boston, Brookline, and Quincy MA will have their choice between two powertrain options. The first is a standard 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that outputs 246 horsepower and 269 pounds-foot of torque. The other is a newly-designed mild-hybrid 2.0-liter engine that gets an increased 296 horsepower and 295 pounds-foot of torque.

There’s still no concrete release date in sight for the 2020 Land Rover Evoque, so drivers around Norwood and Newton, MA will have to wait a little bit longer.
